| Description |
The Cantina Gotto d’Oro was founded in 1945 and it was the first company of this type in the Castelli Romani Area. Its name too is characterized by a long tradition: “Gotto” comes from the Latin word “guttus” a glass of great capacity, which indicates also the wine content. The factory in Frattocchie centralizes all the operations of transformation, work and bottling of the wines Frascati, Marino and Castelli Romani, produced by its 400 members.
The completely automatic production procedures consist of modern, very functional and technologically up to date plants producing at least 200.000 hectolitres of wine.
They grant optimization of operational stages and respect of organoleptic and quality characteristics of the produced wine.
During an half century of activity the constant attention of this consortium of producers towards the market changes and development of consumer needs, enabled the diffusion of its wine with great consent from the consumers side.
