| Description |
This company is located on a natural terrace at the slopes of Monte Tuscolo. It is very near to the capital and it has a very well cultivated garden.
The soil in this area is very rich in potassium, phosphorus, calcium and magnesium. The company aims to rediscover the value of the local wine starting from the cultivation of the ancient type of vineyards. The vines Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia di Candia cultivated "a tendone" have been replaced with the Trebbiano Giallo, Malvasia del Lazio and Bellone cultivated “a guyot” (with the branches falling downwards).
As far as the technological plants it is concerned in addition to the purchase of new machineries this company started to use the barriques for the wines produced by its vineyards.
This company produces the “Racemo” a wine which has received several prizes and a sparkling wine obtained with the charmat method. It also produces olive oil and it hosts groups of visitors offering them a free tasting of its products.
It is possible to buy different kinds of packages.
