| Description |
This wine-making company is located on the homonymous hill at an altitude of 200 metres above the sea level, south of Rome, in the area of the Frascati. This company owns 12 hectares of land, cultivated with biological technology from 1995. In the same year a new cellar was built where the carefully selected and controlled bunches become wine.
The rural house is built on the ruins of a roman house; belonging to this period is a source of water with relative fountain, which up to the sixties has been used as water supply and place where to wash clothes. The exceeding water was drained in an underground channel, still visible even if no more in function, toward the place named “mole vecchie”. It is possible to visit the ancient well preserved tanks (still functioning).
The owners pay particular attention not only to the quality of the product but also to its package, considering a right relationship between price/product: all the types of wine are sold in packages of 6 laying bottles.
A wide room equipped for tasting will host tourists and clients. It is possible to associate different kinds of foods and wines. Guided visits also in English and French.
