This hamlet, the chapel and the small
farmhouse at the half of the 18th century belonged to the Prince
Angelo Gabrielli. The interior is decorated with a series of frescos
painted in 1765, that represent one of the most important interior
decorations among the Castelli Romani villas. They are painted
according to the French rococo style, and represent various subjects:
portraits, hunting scenes, children's games.
The figures are very elegant, particularly those representing
women at the centre of sophisticated arabesques. This villa
was restructured after the second world war by the Ponti Family,
their present owners, however it is very ruined. The Ponti Family
widened its park, and built a very scenic wing for their guests
on the side along via dei laghi.
The hamlet of Campofattore was built in the 18th century on
Roman and medieval ruins, and as at present it is abandoned,
its decks and masonries are crumbling.
