Borghese's Palace
The palace probably built by the Rainaldi, reminds of the medieval constructions, not only for its size but also for its position at the entrance of the town, as to confirm a sort of political and physical power over the people. The main façade made of spur stone is very simple and is characterized by the portal, decorated with smooth ashlars and flanked by the heraldic symbol of the Borghese Family, a dragon and an eagle. The portal, the heraldic symbol and the Borghese's coat of arms, that has been lost, were made by the stone-dresser Girolamo Falciani, who had already worked for the Borghese. The Borghese never lived in the palace, and they rented it; in 1854 its conditions were so bad, that they rented it as a barn.

The palace's interior has an inexplicable characteristic, i.e. the window with the balcony and the part of the palace that outside find in a central position, in the interior are displaced on the right about the centre of the room.

The main façade is not symmetrical about its central axis. The left side of the façade is decorated with four windows on each floor, the right side with three. Probably in the 17th century this structure was transformed to align it with the level of the road that leads to the church of S. Antonio and San Gregorio Magno built in 1666; however this is a mere unconfirmed hypothesis.
